During our design and technology lessons, children were able to taste a range of different breads that were mentioned in our class text – ‘Meet me by the steelmen’.
The children were able to taste white bread, rye bread, rosemary bread (kindly made by our very own Mrs Lennard) and scones – which the steel men took in their pack up, and finally – sourdough bread.
During our learning with hygiene and food tasting, children were give the opportunity to smell, and test the texture, then sample the taste.
