Today in RE, Y6 have explored Christian values through the story of the Widow’s Mite. We used freeze-frame drama to retell the story, thinking about how the widow showed generosity and faith, before creating artwork of the ancient Mite coins.
Comparing these tiny coins to the money we use today has been a great discussion this afternoon – we have certainly reflected on what the story teaches us about giving.
