Year 6 have used freeze frame drama in Literacy to explore the diverse roles on the home front during wartime!
By stepping into the shoes of bus drivers, ammunition workers, ARP wardens, and Home Guard members, they brought to life the essential jobs that supported the war effort. In their groups they then had to guess what their peers’ jobs were.
We can’t wait to start our non-chronological report writing about the Home Front this week.
