In art, Class 5 have been exploring how to create secondary and tertiary colours by mixing the three primary colours together.
We started by creating a colour wheel with the three primary colours (red, blue and yellow) in the centre and secondary colours within the middle ring to demonstrate how colours mix to create purple, green and orange. We then mixed the secondary colours together to create the tertiary colours (pink, lime green, turquoise etc.)
Children further extended this by mixing colours through oil and chalk to see if the results changed.
