A fantastic start to the year for our wonderful Year 6 pupils!
We have been exploring the thoughts and feelings of characters from our class text The Giant’s Necklace through role play and drama activities. They carefully considered how tone of voice, facial expressions and body language can communicate emotions and bring characters such as Cherry, her mother and brothers to life.
By stepping into the roles, pupils were able to show empathy, deepen their understanding of the text and develop their ability to interpret the characters’ experiences in a powerful and expressive way.
