Elmer the Patchwork Elephant

We are reading Elmer. Lots of our learning has been linked to the story. We have loved trying all the activities.

We have practiced fine motor control.
We found other Elmer books in the classroom.
We practised pencil control drawing Elmer from the story.
We named the colours as we made Elmer patchwork colours.
The best activity was making patchwork biscuits. Yum.
