In Science we have been learning about animals including humans. We introduced the term habitats and used a variety of materials to create them. We focused on what the animal would need to survive, by using a variety of materials we were able to show where they live and some children showed what food they eat! We then made links to maths by giving each material a cost. Our workshop allowed the parents/ carers to work collaboratively with their child to create the habitats whilst also using addition to find an overall total cost.
