Today, parents and carers joined us for our Count me in session. We explored the importance of nursery rhymes within Numeracy across all stages of EYFS.
We spoke about ‘song box’ an important aspect of our numeracy curriculum and how these nursery rhymes boost mathematical thinking and children’s awareness of the stable principle of numbers.
We created our own characters for an at home song box so we can continue our learning at home.
