As part of our learning in literacy (drafting an informal verbal recount) and using our skills in computing, we’ve travelled back in time to the year 1990 to announce the grand opening of Meadowhall Shopping Centre.

The children have worked together to draft and film a live reports as ‘Roughwood Reporters’, and focussed on clarity of information, consistency of tense, fronted adverbials and informality with oracy, to prepare and draft their verbal news reports.
