Over the past four weeks in Design and Technology, the children in class 4 have been researching, analysing and planning their design for their pop-up book for their DT project.
The children enjoyed practising and perfecting their skills to ensure their books will function well, and decided which specific DT skill they will be improving.
The children have created their own prototypes and used these to check their measurements carefully, so that children in KS1 will enjoy using them. From to planning and designing their own, the next stage is to evaluate their designs before allowing children in KS1 to read them.
