This term Class 2’s topic is Fur, Feathers and Skin. To support and immerse the children in this topic we visited the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. We saw many amazing animals ranging from Lions to Polar Bears. The children loved being close to animals, the tiger was only a couple metres away from us! We discussed which groups the animals would go in and will continue this learning in our science lessons. Our educational lesson allowed children to hold and touch a variety of invertebrates and reptiles. After 12000 steps of exploring the children will not forget this experience.
