Today, we had an exciting trip to the Yorkshire Wildlife Park as part of our topic “Fur, Feathers and Skin.” We travelled by coach and were lucky to enjoy some beautiful weather all day!
During our visit, we saw polar bears, giraffes, tigers, lions, and many other amazing animals up close. We had our packed lunches outside, which was a lovely treat in the sunshine.
One of the highlights was taking part in a workshop, where we learned how to sort animals into different groups. We even got the chance to handle a snail, a snake, and a cockroach—some of us were braver than others!
Before heading back to school, we had time to explore the adventure playground, which was so much fun.
We returned feeling inspired and excited for all the learning still to come about animals and their fascinating features!
