Today in Nature Club we have been using items found in nature to create lovely ornaments to later be taken home. We went on a nature walk around the school grounds to collect exciting items that we thought would look the best (we ensured we respected nature and didn’t pick any items from trees or bushes, just collected from the floor)
When we got back to class, we arranged these on our clay and used a rolling pin to imprint them into the surface. We are leaving them to dry for a few days before glazing them. This will give them a glossy finish and they will make the perfect ornaments.
