Year 5 pupils completed their Tudor portrait artwork this week by adding colour using watercolour paints. Using their original sketchbook designs as a reference, the children carefully redrafted and refined their work, focusing on accuracy, detail, and control of paint. The watercolours brought depth and character to each portrait, helping the finished pieces reflect the rich style of Tudor portraiture. The process encouraged patience, thoughtful decision-making, and pride in producing a final, high-quality outcome.
