Year 6 have been learning about famous war artist Henry Moore. Yorkshire-born artist Moore made more than 300 drawings during the war time, mainly of women and children sheltering on the platforms of the London Underground.
We analysed his famous artwork and reflected on the story that it tells and how it depicts emotion. Moore used wax crayon and watercolours as the medium to create his masterpieces.
