This week in the LEAF we have been reading the story ‘The quiet little firework’.
We went on a welly walk to the outdoor classroom where we all worked together collecting sticks to build our very own bonfire. With a sprinkle of magic from Miss Cubitt the bonfire was lit and we celebrated by toasting marshmallows and drinking hot chocolate to keep us toasty.
Back in the classroom the party continued with a carousel of activities. We got our hands messy by creating handprint bonfire pictures and crafting sparkly firework pictures. To finish our party we made yummy chocolate apples!
