Today in Guided Reading, our class showed fantastic adaptability and teamwork. With the printer out of action, we turned to Google Classroom to access our reading textβand the children rose brilliantly to the challenge!
Using the editing and highlighting tools, pupils were able to:
β¨ Identify key information in the text
β¨ Highlight important vocabulary and evidence
β¨ Retrieve answers directly on the shared document
β¨ Work more independently and confidently online
The children quickly demonstrated how skilled they are at navigating digital tools, and it was wonderful to see how engaged they were in discussing the class text, finding evidence, and supporting each other.
A big well done to everyone for embracing technology and showing such resilience. What a great example of problem-solving and digital learning in action!
