This week in Maths, our children have been working as Maths Partners to help each other master multiplying 4-digit numbers by 2-digit numbers.
Working in pairs, they took turns being the Coach and the Solver:

Solved the calculations Explained their thinking Learned new strategies from their partner
Together, they practised setting out long multiplication, spotting place-value patterns, and checking answers with estimation. The classroom was full of teamwork, encouragement, and great mathematical talk!
