This week, our Year 5 pupils had an unforgettable experience inside the Wonder Dome, an immersive 360° digital planetarium that brought Earth, space, and the solar system to life right before their eyes!
Inside the darkened dome, the class journeyed far beyond the classroom—starting with our own planet Earth, zooming out to explore the Moon, planets, and swirling rings of Saturn, before travelling even further into the vast world of galaxies and the Milky Way.
The session was fully interactive, allowing pupils to ask questions, follow guided tours of star systems, and witness breathtaking visuals that deepened their understanding of the universe. The excitement was clear as they spotted constellations, imagined life on distant planets, and learned how stars are born.
The Wonder Dome experience truly ignited curiosity and inspired our young explorers to think about the mysteries of space—and perhaps even future careers in science and astronomy!
Well done, Year 5, for your enthusiasm and brilliant questions throughout the session. 🌠
A cosmic adventure to remember! 🚀
