Early Years Funding

2 Year Funding

  • 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. In line with Rotherham term dates.
  • Family receiving some form of support.
  • Can be used the term after the child’s 2nd birthday
  • A letter confirming eligibility must be provided

3 & 4-Year-Old Funding

  • All families in England with 3 and 4-year-olds.
  • 15 hours each week for 38 weeks of the year. In line with Rotherham term dates.
  • Can be used the term after the child’s birthday.

30 Hours Funded Childcare

  • Can be used the term after you apply as long as the code is valid and renewed.
  • 30 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year. In line with Rotherham term dates.
  • Unfortunately, we do not allow stretching the funding to cover the whole year.
  • This code must be renewed every 3 months.

Universal Credit

  • For working families claiming universal credit with children under 17 years of age.
  • You may be eligible for help with up to 85% of your childcare costs.

Tax Credits

  • For working families claiming Working tax credits with children under the age of 17 years of age.
  • You may be eligible for help with up to 70% of your childcare costs.
