Y3B – Categorising times tables using arrays to support

Today Class 4 began their multiplication unit of maths by looking at arrays. Children were asked to identify number sentences, make arrays and then put them into different categories.

Outside there were 6 separate balloons with categories such as: multiples of 10, odd, even, less than 20 and answers with. 2 digits children had to write the correct number sentence on the correct balloon.
