What a fantastic start to Anti-Bullying week 2023 we have had today! To kick start the day a group of our RP (Restorative practice) reps in school travelled to Gulliver’s Valley for a special launch event called Make A Noise About Bullying.

The special event was filled with a range of interactive activities and a performance from Rotherham College students. During the day there was a presentation for The Rotherham Anti-Bullying award. This was presented by the Mayor of Rotherham to celebrate the successes within schools towards anti-bullying. Roughwood Primary School was presented with the Rotherham Anti-Bullying GOLD award! The children were thrilled to be able to collect an award on behalf of the rest of the school and they even got to have a photo with the mayor!

All the children had a fantastic day and even got to connect with other schools, sharing the same passion for creating a safe and accepting environment for everyone.

Well done and what a great start to what will be an amazing and informative week!
