We have been delighted to invite South Yorkshire Police into our school today where an internet safety session was delivered to our Year 5’s and 6’s.

From discussing the use of apps, controlling the content that we create and understanding dangers of online safety, the children were given insightful and valuable tips to ensure they remain safe when using online platforms.

Year 5 and 6 were incredibly sensible and mature when discussing the matter and asked thoughtful questions in order to learn further about measures they can put into place when playing online. The children had great knowledge of how to set privacy controls, who to confide in if an issue arises online and knowing what should and should not be shared online.
