Visit to Wentworth Woodhouse

Several children this week had the honour of representing Roughwood Primary School at Wentworth Woodhouse as part of the John Carr 300 project.

A few months ago, we were asked to design and create a stable block in the style of John Carr who designed the original stables at Wentworth Woodhouse.

As a reward for their hard work and nominations, the children received a private tour around Wentworth including the opportunity to see some hidden areas. The children then heard a talk from an architect who is responsible for the current repairs to the stable before receiving prizes for the winners of the competition categories. A massive well done to everyone who entered.
