Class 6 Visit The Space Dome at Rockingham Junior and Infant School

Having walked to one of our local academy schools where we could share an experience, the children in class 6 experience a range of space exploration learning activities and enter the Wonderdome.

From entering dome, the children were able to immerse themselves into life as an Astronaut as though they were visiting different planets and identified different constellations.

We learnt about the different planets in our Solar System and observed asteroids and hazards on the journey to space.

Here are some of the photos from the learning experiences throughout the morning.

This amazing experience was funded by the Ogden Trust, which meant this trip was free for our families. We thank you for providing this fantastic experience.
