Year 6 have made a fantastic start to their new unit of writing today with some brilliant drama to enhance character thoughts and feelings. We used freeze frames to portray how Grace Darling would have felt during her rescue experience.

All of these feelings are really going to help them create a powerful image in the readers minds when it comes to writing their diary entry this week.
