Active Listening – RP Rep Training

This weeks training was a session based on Active Listening.

The RP Reps Indentified the skills of active listening:

  • Being engaged
  • Making sure the person you are speaking to knows you are interested
  • Nodding or repeating key information back to the speaker
  • Keeping eye contact when possible
  • Open body language
  • Showing empathy

We then used our active listening and memory skills playing a partner game – remembering facts about our partners. Mrs Streets set come challenges which made sure we had to be focusing on what our partner was saying!
