With Me In Mind ran a practical and insightful session for our Y6’s this afternoon, focussing on upcoming exam stress and anxieties and gave us tips on how this can be managed on our run up to SATs week.
The children engaged with the session extremely well and were very reflective of their thoughts and feelings towards assessments and identified ways that can improve our mental health and well-being in this crucial time of the year.
From practising breathing techniques, discussing staying active and positive and completing our ‘worry person’, children were able to talk openly about their feelings and understand ways forward that will help.
