Class 6 Explore Trading and Importing Goods, During the Tudor Era…

The children in class 6 have developed their map work within our geography session to identify and locate different countries around the world and throughout Europe. Using atlases and then researching trade in the ICT suite, we specifically looked at locations that were involved in trading goods during the Tudor Era.

We then discussed how goods are traded during the modern day and how this differed to trade in the UK during the 16th century. This dialogue included learning about transportation methods and how they’ve developed over time, and children found it interesting when exploring how much has changed over the years!

During our lessons, we have learnt about where items were imported from, and which items were from more local territories.
