NRICH Maths in Class 3

This week in maths we had a go at an NRICH investigation all around money. The problems we had to solve were around Ben having five coins in his pocket. We had to think of the smallest and largest amount he could have in his pocket. After that, we then thought about all of the different combinations we could make if the coins in Ben’s pocket were just 1p’s, 2p’s or both. We enjoyed the challenged and had to show lots of resilience.
