Exploring the States of matter through movement in Y3

Today children in Class 4 were introduced to the states of matters in Science to support us with our new topic around how steel is made. We decided to do this creatively and portray this using movement and dance routines.

Children represented key scientific vocabulary and processes such as: particles, solid, liquid, gas, temperature, condensation, melting, freezing etc. using group work. They then performed them as a sequence to music making it into a unique dance routine.
