Yesterday afternoon, we received a confidential design mission from NASA which we can now reveal.., class 6 were set the challenge to design ‘and create their very own model moon rovers’!
The mission was to work as team to design a Luna Rover with a stable chassis that is strong, sturdy and mobile enough to move at least two metres, whilst carrying samples of moon rocks. The models were allowed only two other special features such as seatbelts, or solar lights.
On Monday 28th November, the children will create prototypes to test and tweak, and eventually, they will evaluate the success of their rover models.
