Planting Trees for Our Future in Bushcraft Club

This week in our outdoor Bushcraft Club, we have been busy planting a range of trees around school and we can’t wait until our very own saplings turn into large trees in a few years time.  As part of our tree planting sessions, the children are learning about the importance of trees in our environment as they provide shelter and food for us and wildlife. Trees can also be used to support and promote wellbeing, positive climate change and health.  Trees also provide wood and materials which we use in our Bushcraft sessions at school such as last week’s leaf wind chimes.
