Having visited Leicester Space Centre, the children in Year 5 experienced a range of space exploration learning activities.
From entering space capsules, flight modules, to visiting the space tower, the Year 5 children at Roughwood Primary School were able to immerse themselves into life as an Astronaut.
We learnt about the different planets in our Solar System and observed a real fragment of moon rock. We even learnt about the different attire that astronauts wore for their journey to space.
Here are some of the photos from the learning experiences from throughout the day. Look out for a further post of our fantastic day at Leicester Space Centre.
