Year 6 PE – Gymnastics

Children in Year 6 continued their topic of Gymnastics this week focusing on inverted movements. An inverted movement is where hips are placed above the head. The children explored a number of different movements such as shoulder stands, bridges, hand stands and cartwheels. All the children challenged themselves to perform difficult movements and were able to progress them.
