Roughwood Orienteering

Children from Years 3,4,5 & 6 competed in a Willow Tree Academy Orienteering event at Rockingham Junior & Infant school. The children arrived and quickly studied the map and formed a plan in their own year groups. Orienteering is a sport that requires, collaboration, resilience, map reading skills and problem solving. An amazing evening where all children showed outstanding collaboration skills to work together to find all the stations around the grounds at Rockingham. It was fantastic competing against all school in Willow Tree Academy and a big thank you to Rockingham for hosting the event.
