Y5/6 Tudor Day – Part 2

This morning, we also had the exciting opportunity to try out a ‘Tudor banquet’ and taste foods that were popular of the time. The children experienced foods they liked and disliked, and were able to talk about these and how they compared to foods we have today. Well done to the brave children who trialled out the range of sweet and savoury foods!

Tudor dancing was a popular entertainment choice for many Tudors to perform at royal banquets and other gatherings. During our P.E sessions with Mr Tyas, children in Class 7 and 8 have learnt a Tudor dance routine and a selection were lucky enough to perform this to our parents this afternoon…
