Do all liquids cause damage to our teeth?
This was our research question for Science Week and we decided to find out by using eggs to represent our teeth … a strange choice you might think but, egg shells are like the enamel on our teeth, they protect the inside of the egg, the same way enamel protects the inside of our teeth!

So we decided to find out what would happen if we submerged eggs into different liquids that we eat and drink everyday … would some cause more damage than others?

We poured and sealed each liquid and observed over the changes over four days … these were our results …

Which do you think caused the most damage?
