Outstanding week of PE in Year 3. The children developed their sprinting technique and challenged themselves to achieve a personal best time. To begin with the children experienced what would was like to run with straight arms and legs and discussed how that felt. The children found this very uncomfortable and then were able to develop correct sprinting technique which requires elbows being bent, hands moving from pocket to mouth, bending and raising your knees. Amazing to see the children evaluate and correct their own techniques.
