K’nex space challenge

Children from Roughwood have taken part in a fantastic STEM challenge today. The challenge was to create an air-powered moon buggy that could go the distance. The designs had to be as light as possible but be able to hold the air-powered booster which would propel the cars across the moon. This is linked to the children learning about forces in class. All groups used their resilience and teamwork skills to design, create and tinker with their designs to make them go as far as possible. Well done everyone.
