Year 5 Learnt About ‘Active Listening‘ in RP.

During our Restorative Practise learning sessions, we’ve been learning about active listening and we used freeze frames to show what positive active-listening looks like.

We learnt how important open body language is, using eye contact with the speaker and the importance of face-to-face contact with others.

The children discussed how much it means when others show them active listening, and we were astounded by how children could reflect on their awareness of developing their individual listening skills.
