Today Class 4 completed an investigation to see which objects and materials were opaque, translucent or transparent.

Initially we did lots of recapping key scientific vocabulary such as light source, reflection, reflection and of course our key words in today’s learning: opaque, transparent and translucent.

Class 4 learnt that opaque objects don’t let light pass through them and that’s how we end up with shadows.

The children showed fantastic team work skills and demonstrated an inquisitive attitude during this investigation.
