On Monday, Class 6 recreated a significant event in our history topic – the village meeting, on the 24th of June 1666, where William Mompesson called for Eyam to quarantine from the rest of the country.

We used this piece of artwork as a stimulus for our drama learning, and recreated the scene outside, gathering with our families to stay safe.

Then each family decided whether or not they agreed with the proposal, and shared their views to the rest of the villagers. We then reflected on this back in class, using our P4C skills …
