Using our maths and science within our Geography

In our Geography lessons, we’ve been analysing and comparing the changes in weather (temperature) and rainfall in who different places – South Yorkshire (specifically Sheffield) and the capital of Norway – Oslo, which is also the largest City in Norway.

The children have research live information provided by the Meteorological Office (abbreviated as ‘Met Office’), which is the UK’s national weather service.

By comparing two similar cities, we were surprise with our findings.

Despite us having a lot of rain in South Yorkshire recently, we were surprised to find out that Oslo had more rainfall during the summer months of last year!
