Music Service Involvement and Instrumental lessons

At Roughwood Primary School, we believe that every child should learn the skills of playing an instrument during their time at our school. These skills include self-discipline, creativity, developing motor skills and developing language and social skills.

On a very wet and windy day, year 3 learn ukulele in the classroom, year 4 learn how to play the djembes and this week, year 5 work on their body percussion.

Why not take a quick listen to the ostinatos from our year 5 children?

We are going to be re-offering individual instrumental lessons for children in Key Stage Two for the final summer term.

Watch this space for opportunities with guitar and violin lessons…
