From making our favourite characters out of fruit and vegetables, stitching out favourite book characters and finding out favourite places to read, what a week we’ve had!

The children learning from home have been making characters from a book of their choice and thinking about the settings for key scenes in their favourite chapters.

I wonder if you can spot Gangsta Granny made from a banana? Or Mr Tall from the well-known Mr Men and Little Miss books?

The children at school have been exploring the wonderful school grounds with their books and finding unusual and quiet places to read.

What a wonderful end to our remote learning… or is this only the beginning for our reading and furthering our imagination…
