The idiom ‘grab the bull by the horns’ refers to ‘approaching, confronting, or dealing with a problem or difficult situation directly and with clear, confident action.’
This is exactly what class 7 did today, from home.
We’ve started looking at our new class text for guided reading, and then the children discussed Tudor soldiers and researched facts about them.
We also learnt about multiplying large numbers with White Rose challenge resources.
To finish the day, we started to investigate tapestry designs. If they’re good enough for Henry VIII, they’re certainly good enough for Roughwood!
Well done to parents/carers and children for a challenging yet successful day at RPS (learning from home).
