Some of our Year 5s have just come back from a maths residential of ‘problem solving and challenge’ at Crowden.
Children have taken part in challenges which included mathematical archery mission, scaling using perimeter, team-building resilience measurement, and orienteering… plus many more challenges.
We are incredibly impressed with their resilience, and we will invite parents and carers in to school at some point (next term) so see what they have accomplished. These activities and challenges were not for the faint hearted!
Well done to all children who took part. We finished the day with an exhilarating zip-wire finalé!
