Class 5 have been partaking in lots of different drama techniques to enhance their new writing genre, “diaries”. Children began by hot seating to think deeper about our book character’s feelings and thoughts about her job as a nursery maid. We then thought about her character traits.
We used conscience alley to encourage “Lottie” our book character (Brooke) to think about if we she really wanted to quit her job or not.
We concluded with some thought tracking and freeze frames! Great dramatisations which I’m sure is going to result in some fantastic diary entries written!
