On Tuesday we began our diversity week with a visit from Mrs FJ and Dazzle the Emu. They told us all about how we are all different and unique.
In class we explored this further by discussing our differences and those of people we know. As we really enjoy art in Class 3 we looked at different artists and discovered a blind artist called John Bramblitt. After researching his art work, we had a go at creating our own paintings with our eyes covered to get a real feel for what it must be like for John Bramblitt.
”It was different and a real a challenge because I didn’t know where I was putting the paint” Kalem
”It was dark and quite scary, I had to use my hands to feel for the paints” Beth
